Though born in an ordinary middle class family in Kerala, Dr. K.C.G. Verghese, by dint of hard work, rose to be one of the top-ranking educationists. He had his dreams. He turned them into reality.
To quote from his own autobiography: “In my opinion, the man who is thirsty should get water. The one who is hungry must be fed. The man who is thirsty for knowledge must be provided with a learning environment. This is what educational institutions are for.”

His profound qualities namely enthusiasm,preseverance, vision, anmd live networking created a springboard for many aspirants to mould their careers.
Dr. Verghese was the pioneer in the aviation industry, having launched the first domestic airline with a Boeing 737 aircraft during nineties. He also importes the First private Cessna aircraft for the training operations in the 1980's.

The best tribute we can ever offer this architect of Hindustan Group of Institutions could be to emulate his idea and work towards realizing his dreams. Let his vision ' Make Every Man A Success, No Man A Failure' inspire us to follow his footsteps.

About HCAS

It was with the definite aim of establishing a centre of excellence in applied sciences and Arts that the HETC Educational Society started Hindustan College of Arts & Science in 1995.

About HCC
The Hindustan community College was started early this year. As a non - profit and non - commerical organization, it has admitted nearly 42 students who are school dropout. The college also has industrial partners to equip the out going students with jobs.

In keeping with the college motto, 'Salus Popu Li' , A latin term, which means ' the Welfare of the people,' the main objective of the college is to rise the standard of living,of the people in and around Padur in Kanchipuram district. The inauguration of HCC was held on 19th January 2010. Dr.Elizabeth Verghese, chairperson, Hindustan Group of Institutions, presided over the programme. Dr.S.Xavier Alphonse (Director, ICRDCE) was the Chief Guest.
